Central gardens

The central gardens benefit from a collection of carefully managed trees and shrubs arranged around a central lawn, fountain and sunken garden.

The fountain provides a relaxing sound of running water from March to October each year.

There is seating around all parts of the central gardens.

West garden

The hidden west garden is peaceful but popular with all types of wildlife. Birds are regularly seen here and there have also been sightings of hedgehogs.

This garden has a pond, seating and is ideal for quiet reflection.

Trees

There are more than 90 established trees at Mayfair Gardens.

Many of these trees are located at the perimeter of the central gardens and within the west garden where some are protected by Tree Preservation Orders.

All trees around the estate are all carefully managed and some are regularly pollarded to maintain light and uniform appearance.

Gardening

Gardeners frequently attend to the gardens at Mayfair Gardens. They cover all the shared spaces within our responsibility and undertake duties such as maintaining the hedges, shrubs, plants and lawns.
